The Howdenshire Grand Piano
Due to the amazing success of the Howdenshire Piano Appeal in 2020, Howdenshire Music are the proud custodians of a brand new FEURICH 218 grand piano. The piano is housed in Howden Minster.
This wonderful instrument is used in most of our concerts, as well as in other community events.
If you are a Howdenshire-based musician (student or otherwise) and would like to arrange a performance/recording session using our grand piano, please get in touch.
The Howdenshire Piano Appeal
In July 2020 Howdenshire Music launched an appeal to raise funds for a new grand piano to secure the future of the concert series and to become a community resource.
The response was absolutely overwhelming and by December 2020 the appeal had met its target! Howdenshire Music was able to purchase a new FEURICH 218 Concert 1 grand piano, which is now permanently based in Howden Minster.
This wonderful grand piano will allow our concert series to continue for years to come, and it will also be a lasting resource for our community including local schools, Howden Minster, music groups and young people.
